Timothy Staff – Chief of Staff

Timothy Staffa is Action Against Hunger USA’s first Chief of Staff, responsible for supporting the Office of the CEO with strategic planning, Board engagement, and special projects. Mr. Staffa has more than 15 years of experience in the social sector in roles spanning project implementation and business development through operations and leadership.

Prior to joining Action Against Hunger, Mr. Staffa worked at Pact, a DC-based international NGO, where he coordinated enterprise-wide strategic and annual planning, developed and monitored institutional key performance indicators, and oversaw special initiatives as Vice President for Planning. Prior to Pact, he worked at PATH, a Seattle-based global health organization in a wide range of business development roles.

Mr. Staffa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Relations from American University and has completed executive education training at Harvard Business School. He grew up between New York and southern Spain and now lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and two young daughters.
